Pictures of Westfield 11 formerly a 1967 Sprite

Here is a link to some current pictures. It is driveable (125 miles!) but not legal yet. I need to install the E-brake, hook -up a PCV system and find some way to get the headlights up a bit higher from the road. The body is in the as delivered condition plus all the garage rash it has picked up being moved and stored for 3 years. I intend to buff it out and drive it for a while before painting.

that's amazing! how much is still Sprite?

Man is that cool. Get some shots outside, need a good profile and 3/4 view out of the cramped garage!
I love it!

The engine with carbs, front suspension uprights, rear axle, brakes(except for front calipers),steering box, driveshaft, pedal box and hydraulics & wheel hubs are from the donor car.

The engine is much modified and the trans is a Datsun 5-speed and cruises at 70@3200 on the freeway. I have only driven it to and from the various inspections needed here in CA.

Very cool! So nice to see that it's ready for driving after all the work you've put into it.

NICE! How many hours do you estimate that it took to build?

Thanks, I am running a 4:22 rear with 15" Dunlop racing tires. the RPM's worked out just as predicted by GearCalc.

Re: Pictures of Westfield 11 formerly a 1967 Sprit

It's a program to predict final drive ratios. just google it. You will need your tire diameter first though.

ok will do, thanks. I am thinking of going down in tire diameter at least of the rear. Right now I am running 175/70-13 and would like to go to 165s.

That's a very cool car. Nice project.

That is very nice indeed!!Round here there is too much adverse weather or I might be induced to try something like that. I'm waiting for a first generation Elite kit! Used to be in the fiberglass bizz and need someone to pull some molds!

Westfield,

Nice job. I'm envious. I'd love to get one of those. Please keep me in mind if you hear of anyone selling. A complete car would be nice, but I'd be more interested in an unfinished kit, especially one that does not yet have an engine or tranny.
