Oh baby did it! Was a VERY nice car! 6 cylinder, outstanding condition. I wanted that car more than any other car there.

Jaybird,

You know a "factory" conversion to a 3.5L V8 (with a 5 speed tranny) and you could walk away from the O/D and SU issues. Wouldn't dahubby love that.

Radford! Tsk tsk. YOU are possibly the worst of all the enablers here! I get myself into enough trouble, without instigators egging me on.

Besides, I have something up my sleeve regarding a V8...will be revealed at our British car show on the 18th. If you're interested, drive up!

I will be coaching my daughter's soccer game that day, you remember what it was like when the dot was at home. Keep me posted though.

Ah yes, I do remember. Only it was softball, swimming and diving, dance, etc. Seems like a thousand years ago though, now that she's 25! Enjoy it while you can!

Enabler, really. I was just trying to present an engineering project wothy of dahubby's fabrications skills. Then of course there was the thought of trying to save you a little bit of cash. I mean by the time you've rounded up all these parts it would cost close to the same thing. (Can you tell I once worked in the political realm). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

I can def tell because you spew bs as good as anyone - besides me!!!

I have to go slow with dahubby, don't want to overwhelm him. ONE project at a time. Shocks, then the carbs, then a carpet kit, then a tranny, then a paint job...
