I'm off shortly to take the MGB into Park City to meet a friend for lunch. Before I head out, here's a few pictures and video from delivery day.

you are one happy guy! must be a different kind of elation vs. Tunebug where the assembly led to the gratification of the first drive! Congrats again. BTW nice orangy red coupe in the opening shot - my kids learned to drive in one just like it, same colour too!

Neighbor kids -- they're very cute to watch as they zoom around.

I'm really enjoying this car. Took it into Park City today to meet a friend for lunch, and drove home the long way. I'm already addicted to the OD on 3rd and 4th. Biggest thing is the comfort difference. It's substantial. I love the right hand drive. My shifts are getting better, and it feels perfectly natural. I'm glad I found one.

A few more photos from today:

Creepy watching some dude backing it out on that lift at the second story, eh?
Enjoy that lumbering luxo land yacht.

Not exactly lumbering, but I can feel the extra 600# or so that the MGB carries. Sure does ride nicely.

Sounded like you had a misfiring hole in th' video. Did that clear up on its own?

Running fine now, Doc. Car hasn't been driven much since coming out of its winter storage, so it's still a bit rough. I really need to do a full tuneup on it, but I'm having too much fun driving it right now.

An evening project for next week.

Beautiful car Drew, I owned a variety of B's in the past and still a favorite of mine. The design is just timeless and never seems old to me - gotta say one thing tho - we were expecting a BIG smile!

Dunno - that last shot in his post above looks pretty "Cheshire-y" to me!
