I'm going to guess Southern Utah or Norther New Mexico? (Maybe Arizona)

You're correct, that's not Uluru. Spent a month with our daughter in Alice Springs Northern Territory in 2018, beautiful but very unforgiving!

Thanks for the pic I could not remember Uluru. I can talk carbs and tires and the like all day. This forum lets people open up also and a pic says a 1,000 words. Thanks Basil

Sadly, when I was up early one morning to ascend Uluru (yeah, I know the aboriginal folks don't approve), the weather was predicted to be too hot and windy (so the rangers closed it). I chose walk all the way around it which was fantastic (as I was essentially all by myself - maybe 10km). Technically, even some photography is not encouraged (as I was told it is sacred). The rock is amazing up really close... black in places.

I live in Nevada and about an hour or two there are sand dunes Big Dune, Sand Mountain I have not gone up to them but they must be ten story's high. They have been there for 100's of years for no reason it's not like a beach any where and the area is like my pic two.
Uluru seem to be the same way just pop here you go world. Madflyer
Thanks for the pic

At least there are web-pages for the climb and top of Uluru (Ayer's Rock for those that don't know it by its modern name).

I guess if it's a 10 in your book that means you rather like the car! I've got just over 10k on my Kia and so far (knock on wood) it's been trouble free. Going to be changing the oil later today (I'm changing every 5k miles).

It is my second KIA Had a 2014 I got in 2013. never a recall 150,000 miles just tires and battery AWD Sorento V6 200 plus HP. We got the Sportage because Sorento only came with third row seats waste of money in my book. I never had heated seats before been nice this winter in Nevada. The rest of the stuff still working on as the SX came loaded. At our age last new car we will ever need. There are some LBC's TR's I am looking into.
And to note I like the new forum and pic across the top. MF

This is the first KIA I've ever owned, althoughg my younger son has a 2008 Kia Sportage which has been a pretty nice little car. I got rid of a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with over 315k miles to get this KIA. So far so good (knock on wood)

To go one step far there there is a MAIN STREET in most all city's and spelled two ways Maine Street. Just saying. My rock is in Nevada.
