Yes, I know where the dump was. These were the days when you put everything in one place and they burned it on the days when the facility was closed. Several years later it became a landfill, and I think part of it is now under a highway exit. I'd say it's hopeless.

Several of our cars that would have been worth big $$ today met with sad ends, although the others were "done in" by subsequent owners.
 
My grandfather bought a used 1958 Chevy impala convertible way back when... for $50, drove it home, pulled the battery out and set fire to it. he sold the steel for scrap. And several others just as good or better too.
