Picture of an original choke knob BJ7 anyone?

Does anyone have a picture of one? The one in my car stands out on as not being original, but I'm just not sure.

This may sound odd, given that the drive line (put in 25 years ago by a PO) is not original, but this knob really bugs me because it doesn't look original to the car. Although, I didn't think the metal toggle switch looked all that original, so perhaps the choke knob was just a plain black knob and different from the others?

It is a black knob with a white C in the center. Post a pic of yours and I can compare with the restoration guide pic.
 
Sorry Tim but your describing the early cars had a small C and the later cars had a large C. The BJ7's and maybe early BJ8's had a white circle with "CHOKE" inscribed in the center.
I hope this is correct.
 
It does have a "C" on it, but it is different shape / texture than the others. Perhaps it is an aftermarket item? I will post a picture later this weekend.

My late BJ8 had a white circle and the word "choke" in white in the center.
 
BJ7 and BJ8 original choke was like this - white recessed circle inside the rim and white recessed letters.

Here is a crummy picture of my buggered up ignition switch and choke knob. Clearly unoriginal?

I was looking at page 167 of the Moment\Anderson restoration guide. It looks just like the one on my BN7.

Healey Z, your cable looks more correct for a tri carb. Hard to find . NIBs is spot on for a tri carb, not BJ8 but of course the C would be painted white. The T handle is MGB , which is the best for a TR3 since the primitive mechanism makes it hard to pull with a small knob ! Kevin

The photo in the guide is not a closeup but you can see that it has a "C" and not "choke". I cannot verify yours is original but it looks generally correct. Your C is bigger than the one on my BN7.
 
My side shift tri carb has one that looks perhaps like Z's. It has serrations like a coin around the edge and a small raised portion in the center of it's face. It also is a different shape/material than the other dash knobs.
