WOW! That looks GREAT! Very nice work. Won't be too much longer before it's done. :driving:

Gorgeous! A small question for you - for the valve cover, are those fancy hold-down nuts from Joe Alexander, or someone else? Sheesh, I need to get going on my 59.

That looks great, good job. I wish I could do that.

Greg - I strongly suggest that you enter it in the TRA concours when it's finished. You will get a score and a copy of the scorecard. From this card, you can see the deviations and then you can decide if you want to make it even "more concours" or leave it as you restored it because that's the way you wanted it and the way you like it. Points are not everything, but the challenge is hard to overcome. I still get 96 points after 102,000 miles since my restoration in 1990.

Wow! very nice same color as mine but much brighter with new paint. Wish I could afford to do it right, maybe some day.

Super, Super Nice Greg,

My / Our hats off to you Sir!

Love the "Primrose Yellow". I had a `58 TR3 in the same color but not quite as nice as yours!!

Super, Super Nice Job.

Russ

Great job Greg!!!!!!!!

I see that you have done your dash and cubby box cover, my colors too. I'm getting ready to do that and was wondering about things such as, where on the dash did you start, what kind of adhesives did you use, etc, etc. Did you sand blast and primer the metal before you started? You did a great job and I sure would like to do that kind of job on mine!

Cheers, Tinkerman

Of course, I don't know for sure, but those look like the ones Moss is selling. I just got a pair for mine. Price is reasonable, compared to others I've seen, and they have an o-ring on the sealing face -- nice! (And, they DO look great on top of the Offenhauser valve cover.)

Who cares about Concours with a car that looks like that is going to look???

Just enjoy your hard work and keep the pictures coming......

I wish I could take credit for the interior, but I farmed out the whole thing, seats and all. I did sand down and paint the dash front and back before having it covered. I didn't feel as if I could that type of work.

I bought them on Ebay and believe it was Joe.

Don, I might take you up on TRA concours. My wife and I attented this years TRA meeting in Charlestown and were blown away by those concours cars. I am not very competiive but what the heck.
Greg

Yeah, I think Moss sells Joe's stuff too - either way, it looks great!

Very nice Greg!

I wish I was as far as you are with your restoration. You a getting very close to completion. We want more pictures as you progress.

Paul

WOW! Very nice I love the attention to detail. She looks like a real winner.

Other than the blindingly obvious "very carefully", how did you flip the body? What did you rest it on when working on the bottom? And I love the yellow too- planning the body-off on mine, except I really like a red interior with mine- Bill Piggot notwithstanding. Love the Offy valve cover too! Jim
