As some of you know I've gotten myself another 6(just couldn't keep away) Like the last brown one, it needs work, andl lots of it. This car is alot better mechanially(mostly all rebuilt) but a little worse off body wise. I am thinking about doing my first complete paint job, but my son went at one fender today with some compound and the shine actually came right up. But theres too many knicks and such to save the paint. It was restored by an british car dealer in 98, and sold to a female dancer(her 4th TR6) who drove it as her only car(and parked outside), she was very good about getting it any mechanical attention it needed, but not so great with cosmetical care /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif So I've spent the last 2 days just cleaning everything and still have alot more cleaning to do. I bought it as a non running car, dropped in a battery and was racing around the neighbourhood within 10 minutes of taking poession. I am sure I'll have alot of questions as I progress through my quicky cosemetic resto.
As you can see I removed the softop right away(frame needs welding in one spot) and put on the rather ugly snugtop...But it will keep the snow out for the winter. The interior shot are after my cleaning, the before shots would be too graphic for basil's forum /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
