Awsome pictures. Was the bowl of petunias driving the austin? I bet it wasn't thinking "oh, no. Not again" this time around. hehehehehehe.

You're too much Kenny!!! hehehehehe. 42!

Annnnnddd! the video of twosheds and I taking one of our laps on the "old Course" starting at "Millikins corners" then heading south on Franklin St. past the old start/finish line, then turning up the hill to start the next lap.
It was still early in the day, so the crowd haden't filled in yet. What a blast!
What you can't see is the huge grin on Johns face, or the aviators helmet and goggles that he lent me to wear during our laps! hehehehehehe

Nice pictures!

I've got to get back up there.
I love the long course. :driving:

There is a regional (SCCA) race on Oct 11-12...
If I can talk the rest of team Pinto into it :smirk:

That Austin Swallow, or one just like it, was at Classics on the James in Richmond, Virginia last September. I was hoping it would be back this Sunday for the 2008 edition of the show.

BCF member "ICESWH" posted a number of very nice pictures of this event on another section of the forum.

I recognise some cars from vintage racing....some of you may know some of the street cars too.

Just want to make sure everyone sees these...some great shots!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I looked like an idiot! (Still do but that's beside the point) That was sooo much fun!!! hahahahahahaha.
For the record... those were Johns hat and goggles, but you can bet it diden't take much convincing to get me to wear 'em......
I musta been just feet away from "ICESWH" while he took those photos of the concourse cars getting thier prizes. I was standing tight there too.
That reeeealy old car is, I think, a 1907...maybe 08, Cadillac. It was a single cylinder/flywheel car. It sounded really cool. chug, chug, chug, chug, and the guy driving was dressed the part.

Forty Two!!

Any Dead Whales sighted?
