Pics for Ben and Drew, hehe. Three of them.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

Happy for you - sad for me

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

Had to change my Sig.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

Oh my that does look good! Wait until its time for the wiring to go in /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have my harness technically in but its oly connected to the rear lights at the moment. Do you have your tires and rims ready to go on Jack? I still need to get mine to the powder coaters.

Keep up the pace Jack. You'll be done in no time! Work can kids keep taking mre time than I have in the day which is as it should be.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

<seekret stealth whisper mode>PSSTT!! Don't nobody tell Jack, but I'm in *LUST* for his Miss Agatha! </seekret stealth whisper mode>

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

Looks great, Jack. Must be nice to have all those clean parts to work with. Tunebug's not too bad, but lots of oily coating over the years.

Are your front floors flat? Can't tell from the pics if they have the little drops in them that mine do.

And Doc, you can lust for Miss Agatha all you want. But if she shows up missing some day, we know where to find you! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

Front floors are flat, the orginial is underneath, but a bit weak so we just welded in a sheet of steel.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

I'm SO jealous, Jack. You certainly don't mess around.
That is beginning to look like one fine ride.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

You're gonna have to get more parts, Jack, to have something to do with your time....hehehehe

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

Jack

That looks great!

I have double floor boards as well (frt and rear).

Keep up the excellent work and keep us posted.

BTW grand dughters Bimmer looks nice as well.

Patrick

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

That Bimmer was a super buy at 6K, have not done anything but change oil.

Yep going to have to order parts but will be at Daughters in Atlanta next week so it will be slow. Miss Agatha will get a rest.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

Was by Rickey's today...my Works hardtop is just the fiberglass portion (they've totally disassembled it)...putting final prime coat on it today...painting undersides that funny light grey color they came & then outside Vermillion Red...have all new weatherstripping, LEXAN quarter glass & new rear glass windshield.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

"light grey"??? Mine was a closer match to a "flat" OEW. And I know that's how it came from "home". That's odd/interesting.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

The Works hardtops are the same color as the headliner of an MGB GT - it looks close to OEW but is really a light grey....I've only got 3 MGB Works hardtops (1 I've owned since new) & 2 Midget ones...

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

This'n I got in '71, know it wasn't changed. I'll need to refinish the inside, soooo... if you can get a "paint code" for that color, I'd be most appreciative.

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.

I'm gonna run one of my Midget tops by to compare the new color with the original (& will take a piece of GT headl;iner)...if its right, I'll send you the code...remember, these things are quite old & the plastic liner color has faded somewhat....

Re: Pics for Ben, hehe. Three of them.
