Pickup Trucks that play chicken

Back in December, SWMBO and I were driving back home after a day at Bosque Del Apache wildlife reserve. As we were cruising along eastbound on NM 60, I saw a pickup truck approaching a stopping on my right. I assumed he would stop and wait till we passed but, just as we approach the intersection (at 60MPH), the pickup decides to do a California stop and pulls right out in front of me. It's hard to tell in this grainy video, but I had nowhere to go but hard right, and I narrowly avoided clipping his rear end. At this point I mute the audio as I had uttered some choice expletives.

I sympathize, I see that sort of stuff all the time. Here they made having your phone in your while driving a 2 points and $150 last year, but you still see dozens doing it and making sudden turns, use lights/signs as vague suggestions and such.

Since we're on the subject of idiot drivers, I saw this headline today: Idiots are already driving on Tesla Autopilot with Apple Vision Pro on their faces. I would ask "What's this World coming to?" but I'm not sure I want to know.

I took a back road home from work today,& had two drivers (coming towards me)
over the center of the road,on my side.
I wish people would just DRIVE,& pay more attention.

yessiree - the "internet of things" shows us what we're really like.
