Now, THAT'S Christmas card fodder right there!

awesome! Sadly Ms Triss is at boarding school for the winter

I would if I could, but can't so I won't. I did however know a luggage carrier could serve more than one purpose. P.S. Looking good and I am somewhat green with envy.

I picked up our tree with my brother 49 years ago in my TR3. Since I have had the Spit my wife and I have picked it up, most years with the top down. This year I did it alone. My wife unfortunately is not well enough to go. We are still planning the best Christmas we can have.

WAAAAY back when, when I lived in LA, we bought our first Christmas tree at a lot out side a mall. Beautiful day to own a TR8, top down, Christmas carols on the radio, just nice.

We had a small apartment and bought a 6' tree. I put the base of the tree into the left hand side of the trunk, pulled the top of the tree over and in towards the passenger seat and closed the the trunk lid

About 10 - 15 people stood there in shock as I drove away

Every Christmas should be our best. Some Christmases are filled with people, some are just very quiet but most importantly Christmas should always be joyous. Sorry your wife's health is not the best but with your attitudes I have no doubt it will be memorable.

Thanks, wait until you see what I have planned for Christmas Eve. I just hope the weather is not too bad. Stay tuned. Trying to stay in the spirit.

.... but I don't have a Spitfire,so I'm not using one to pick up a tree.....
