If my state would only pass the law allowing us to run them. I plan to restore these and put one on the rear of the BE when I take it to any showing.

Nice find! Utah allows running year-of-manufacture plates, as long as they're original. A nice touch. Will at least look good at the shows for you.

Aye, Florida allows the same as long as correct ones are in the car.

Now where in the world do I find a 1959 Plate in good shape.

Have one made? On third thought Florida plates do not have year on them now?, Just a sticker.

Amazing what folks sell. Ain't it great.

Yup, vintage plates are all over ebay too. And at the big car swap meets there are usually one or two guys selling old plates.

Welcome to Yodadom!

Nice site for those plates...and he has my year AND county!!! How aboutyou Jack, did you find one for Miss A there? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Nothing for the right county, will keep an eye out.

There is a guy who works all the chevy and ford shows in the area that sells the vintage plates. I was going to pick one up, but he did not have one for a 65.

After checking the link above, I think this is the guy. Too bad he doesn't have one for Palm Beach County that is not for a truck.

Not far, not far!! You wouldn't happen to know Hank from Maschmeir Concrete would you?

Not ringing any bells, but he may have been a customer of mine when I was working at Congress Auto Parts. I won't be surprised if you haven't heard of it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I know of Congress Auto Parts. Which one did you work at, not the one by T's Lounge? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif ?

No, I worked at the one on Southern and Haverhill, and out in Royal Palm Beach. Not saying that I did not stop by T's after work now and again. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Now I have a job that is across the street (pretty much) from Rachels on 45th St. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif
