Hi, I picked up my newest toy, a '76 tr7 fhc, yesterday from previous owner. didn't realize that billy graham and Nascar was in KC and ended up spending the night in the back of the rental car at a walmart parking lot. no hotel rooms within 100 miles of Kansas City.

Good body, minimal rust (can't find any), some electrical and mechanical work but not too much. Good thing I still have all my extra parts from my TR7/v8 conversion.

As per my custom, no tools only towing card. no cell phone. Now a month in OKC then on to Oregon. I expect no major problems.

What he said. It's beginning to look like the coupes are getting rarer as so many have been pirated to keep the drop heads going. Have fun and keep us posted.

Billy Graham and NASCAR - Praise the Lord and pass Little E!

Coulda been worse - you could have had to sleep in the TR7!

Congratulations on the purchase. And the adventure!

I've slept in my dhc before, in moriarty new mexico. I found out where to place the cooler and pillows to get fairly comfortable.

Congratulations on picking up the 7. What are you going to be doing in OKC for a month?

I work for the post office, they have their training center in Norman. Class is evenings so I won't be able to attend the local triumph meeting in OKC. So far the only problem I've had is the master lighting swich failed (I borrowed tools and a meter). I won't drive at night until I replace it I guess.
