Cool... looks like its been sitting a looong time.

Grab those rims. Quickly. They are probably worth $1000+ for the set - just the fake spinners are worth a pretty penny.

Randy

The spinners are beat to crap but the rims look pretty good. And yes its been sitting for a loooong time. The owner will part with the car and or the rims. He does know they are worth around a grand. Want to see a pic of me at the same location? I thought you would...Bob

*Just* TR250's? I wouldn't mind having one of those...

Scott

Do we know how much he is asking for the TR4?, I am definitely interested in the Car not the wheels.

North Carolina to California seems a long way for a TR4A irs thats been hit and parked for 20? years. If you want to PM your phone number i will pass it on to him. I do not want to bother him with people with free long distance and no real interest. If you qualify shoot me that PM! FYI, I could not see any frame damage BUT the wheel does look like its back a bit! Bob

here are a few more shots. Bob

Bob, hope you will be at the car show on June 14th at Frank Liske Park in Concord. I hope to be in the Roadster, going to start getting it ready tomorrow. BritishCarsDaysSouth.com will get you the information.

Wayne

Did you notice any caps on the 250 ?
could always use an extra R.O.

Wayne, i will be there in a primrose yellow 69 MGB and my wife will probably be in a midnight blue 72 MGB. Tony, I saw a number of caps around but am not sure if there were any on his keeper car. I know another fellow with a 250 with a single cap. I will see if he will part with it also. It may take a few days to get up with both guys. Bob

And is he keeping the TR250's (sounded like it from the comment on the keeper car)?

Scott

I will be looking for you guys in Concord. Maybe we can have a brew?

The whole family is eat up with Triumphs.I think one of his brothers has a few o/d's but not for sale. He has 2 wrecked tr250s that i think he would sell as complete(or whats left of) cars. I took a fellow out to see the rust free tr250 that was hit hard up front. I am not sure if a deal will go down or not. There is a bit more hiding there than what you see in the background of the blue 4A. I will post about a TR8 up for grabs in another post. Bob (MG guy..former TR owner!)

Sad enough to see the 4A with the front end damage. He has a 250 that's also damaged in the front?

Scott

Scott, One tr250 whacked in the front and one hit hard in the rear. Both with major frame damage.
