Just curious as to the top speed ever hit by this car? What was the highest place finished? I ask because it looks rather quick.
 
I heard that the boffins at the HSTR lab had it so finely tuned that a chute had to be installed to slow it down.

Looks can be very deceiving.

The engine was stock except for an Iskenderian 666 cam.

The highest speed hit by me was probably 90 mph or so on the main straight at Summit Point. But I was too busy pointing Porsches, BMWs, Vipers, etc., by, and looking for my braking point and turn in point to look at the speedometer.

I never raced it, either.
