Somewhere I've seen a photo of a blank Bugeye firewall with all the holes labeled. Does anyone remember where this photo can be found?
 
Perfect. I am going to put my Crane Cams electronic ignition box on the cockpit side of the firewall. I needed a hole to run the cables through. Looks like hole #2 is just what I need.

Maybe I should mount mine someday. Currently velcroed in it's "temp" home up under the right fender. Almost have to pull that fender to drill for a hole. Love the ignition though!
 
So if hole #4 is usually blank, where does the heater motor wire go through the wirewall?
Have other people tried the main 12V wire attached to the screw on the tophat battery terminal as Leo shows? How does it work? This looks cleaner than my way, which was to tie it to the outside of the battery cable and connect it to the starter solenoid.

That's how mine is done, and it seems to work just fine.
 
I'm going to use heavy duty velcro to mount to the inside firewall under the dash on the passenger side.

Then I guess I don't feel quite so silly using velcro. It sure comes in handy sometimes. Has it's benefits that's for sure......
