Phone Speedometer

Maybe it will help that the Supreme Court (just TODAY) ruled that your cell phone is your personal information, and can't be "searched" without a warrant. 'Course, monitoring is different. Again, I used the software to quasi-calibrate my speedo so I could read it and know what it really means).

Last time i saw my speedo moving it was wobbling between 20 and 30+ I think i was going about 45. The more info we can monitor on our cars the better i feel. Means more info I can use to pinpoint problems. Good news on the ruling.

I think it was in the nineties the last time I had a good speedo in either pick-up. I've gotten good at estimating my speed by the hum of the engine. If I want to be accurate I check my watch and mile markers.

I wonder what will happen now when OBDIII comes out. It is supposed to notify the authorities if your car violates the emission standards. Many people think that it will have the capability to notify the authorities if you speed. Will it become like the red light cameras that fine the car owner even if he isn't driving?

I've gone back to making coffee with a Proctor-Silex percolator. I think Mr Coffee was reporting my (over) consumption to the Columbian Coffee Cartel. :smirk:

Woould it surprise you?

No it wouldn't suprise me. I just want to know if it would be enacted "for the safety of the children" or
'safety period". I know it would not be for revenure. (sarcasm off now).

I was on the highway in new york and saw two black SUVs that looked just like police cars. On the side in stead of police it said DMV ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE.
