Installed the front shocks and while I was installing the stearing rack I noticed the pasanger side one slowly falling to the bottom, sigh. Peter redid the drivers side guess he is going to get to do the pasanger side as well. Guess it will make it handle just that much better. Fooot.

Ah, the little joys of reassembly, eh Jack?
I'm sure you'll find plenty to keep you occupied while Peter does the other shock.

yep, think I am missing one bolt, strange one for mounting the bottom of the bracket to the bracket for the stearing column. Well I think it is a screw with a round philips head but it has large threads.

I have not given up looking yet but it is a PITA.

Yep. Only rebuild em if they are bad. No telling how long the darn things will work or when they were last rebuilt. In any case I don't have all the front suspension parts yet anyway so no delay. Will be gone for a week to Atlanta the first of the month. Rears not leaking and seem fine

Hung the rack and stearing column, boy is that gasket, bellows kind, on the column a pain. Took several trys to figure out how to go about it.

If it's any consolation, the early MGB column "bellows" is no easier.

Jack - Send him ALL your shocks!

Rear shocks are fine. One front shock has been breathed on by Peater and the other is packed up to mail tomorrow.

Fooot, shocks are easy anytime. Only two bolts on rear and one for the link. Remember, I am working inside with jacks, stands, and a complete set of tools, etc. And everything is so clean.
