Peter has gone after hitting a tree in a rally, was known as king of the mountain (Bathurst 500 Race)here in oz, was in a daytona
 
Just read a news article online. Sorry to hear about your fellow countryman. Not a good week over there in oz. Let's hope bad luck truly does not travel in threes.

When I first saw this thread I immediately thought of the other Peter Brock who is known for his design of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. But what a tragic week for the lads down under!
 
yes there are 2 peter Brock racers....

confusing as the only one I ever heard of was the "other" Peter Brock who raced Datsuns (BRE)
 
How I remember watching Peter drive his Holden round Bathurst,and the streets of Wellington. He was quite a guy.
The racing and rallying people will miss him.
