When I first saw this thread I immediately thought of the other Peter Brock who is known for his design of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. But what a tragic week for the lads down under!

confusing as the only one I ever heard of was the "other" Peter Brock who raced Datsuns (BRE)

How I remember watching Peter drive his Holden round Bathurst,and the streets of Wellington. He was quite a guy.
The racing and rallying people will miss him.
