lost the instructions, so does anyone know what wires go where when installing a pertronix ignitor in my pos. ground BJ8. Coil is marked SW and GB. Currently present points connect to the GB side.
 
First, make sure that your Pert. has a black wire & a black white wire. If it has red & black it is for a negative ground car.

Pert. blk/wh wire to coil SW terminal
Pert. blk wire to ignition switch (used to be on the coil SW terminal)
Coil CB terminal to chassis ground (used to go to the points)

Dave, thanks for the info. I didn't want to fry Mr. Lucas by connecting it up the wrong way. Have you had good luck with the Pertronix ignitor?
