Pertronix for a 100-Six

After installing a high-torque starter I'm now on the slippery slope of 'updating' my Healey and I'm thinking of installing the Pertronix.

My car is a 1958 and positive ground. Apparantly the model I need is LU-165P12. The part is for 6 cylinders 1957 - 1963.

However one supplier's web site had the comment "for 1957 and 1958 cars some modification is required"

Does anybody know what this modification might be? Has anybody fitted a Pertronix to a 100-Six? I've read in the archives that there may be a need to 'sand' the rotor in order to get it to fit under the cap but is there any other modification required? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
