Pertronix and Timing

HI, There is not much latitude for changing the wire size in the Dizzy cap. It is safest to stick with the standard [ 7 mm ] size wire that fits easily in the entry holes in the cap.---Keoke

So end of saga. Bought a coil wire. Fits the pertronix fine. Cut off the distributor boot end and learned how to feed into my side entry dizzy. Car runs so much better. Couldn't notice a miss and loads of power. Will look into copper stranded sp wires for the future. Now onto learning about tri-carb settings as it is running rich but that may take a lifetime. Reviewed many posts and they are intimidating. Plugs are on the dark side but I will settle for an easier start and a reaaly smoooth ride.

Thanks to all for your help,

Eric
