Person in Parked Car...

Clearly The Onion needs a fact checker - the story says "Ford Lightning" but the car in the picture is a SAAB! Or...were there two cars? Is there a conspiracy to obfuscate the truth? We'll probably never know...

Missed that. I feel another Onion story coming on.

There is a 1993 Ford Lightning. Pickup truck.
As far as sitting there at that hour....we know what he was doing...we used to get it on our street. They drive around until an unprotected WiFi connection is found, they stop, and you see the glow from the laptop screen as they do whatever they do on your IP.

We had acouple of kids doing the WiFi thing at our house for a couple of nights. Now we unplug it at night...

You can set up a password so-as to control access (and you probably should).

Ours is...some of the neighbors were not. Bad thing is, the guy looks at stuff that will get you arrested...they come looking for you, not him.
Reminds me of the old days with a Budd Hand Test Set...telephone lineman's handset....open a box, clip on, calls are then from that line, not you.
