Persistent Rough Idle

I'll go over the intake with WD40 this evening. I had made a check before but used carb cleaner instead. I don't know if I will find anything but it is worth the second look. I know I also need to adjust the valves as well. When it gets dark I'll get the plant sprayer after it. Heck, I'll just replace the cap, rotor, and wires anyway just to make sure there aren't any losses there. After those things are done I will report back with the results. Thanks for all the help.

Well, no sparks in the dark. I misted the whole high voltage circuit pretty good. Also sprayed the left side down really good with penetrating fluid no change in rpm. Timing is still rock solid at 18 degrees BTC. Dwell is still right on 50. It increases slightly to 52 when I rev the engine and hold it but it drops back to 50 when I let it idle down. Maybe that is as good as it is going to get? Still going to adjust the valves tomorrow and have my mind set on converting it to electronic ignition in the near future. Thanks for all the help everyone. The wife's got me painting the kitchen so no rest for the weary.
