Perhaps the worst Sprite

To each his/her own, I suppose. It looks a bit like the Clenet, not to mention perhaps a few other such faux classics that have used the Spridget body center section as a basis.

On the absolute opposite side, I saw the neatest "Hot Rod" at a British Car Show many years ago. Someone took a fair amount of trouble to modify/shrink a Model A Ford Coupe body to fit over the inner structure of a Spridget, keeping the entire Spridget drivetrain. It was pretty cool; sorry I don't have a picture of it to share.

I saw this while surfing this morning. Good God man, that's some car. Yeah. I'm sure the creator enjoyed it, which I suppose is what it is all about. But man, that's one ugly beasty. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Believe it or not, there is a company making those Spridgets!
It's called the Gatsby and for awhile, he was displaying his product at Carlisle Import/Kit. He approached me and some other Spridgeteers at the hotel asking for body shells.

There's actually 2 bids on it. Why?
