Performance Exhaust for E-Type 4.2 Series II

when I decided to replace the entire exhaust system in my 1965 Jaguar S type, I shopped long and hard. Every company had an excuse, a shortcut, cut a corner here, cut a corner there, hardware is optional or hardware is included, "we cut the long pipes in two to make it easier for shipping", "we don't guarantee that you will receive dent-free mufflers", a bunch of baloney left and right. We want your money but we don't want to hear from you after the sale. Right!

Then I found a UK company called BELL Silencers who makes beautiful stainless steel exhaust systems for old Jags, and all the baloney was null and void. All hardware and rubber included, all pipes in one piece, all parts polished to mirror finish, and guaranteed to arrive undamaged. And the best part, the price for the entire system was lower than all of the other balonyers. The fit was perfect, no "errors". Later I found out they have the original blueprints for Jags.

Check Bell Silencers before you buy an Abarth system. Back in 1973 I bought an Abarth system for my 1969 MG-B and it was pure crap. The paint started to crack and fall off almost inmediately, exposing already rusted mild steel underneath. A Jaguar deserves a better exhaust system.

Welshent.com ( Welsch Jag in Steubenville, Ohio )
Xks UnLimited ( CA ) Have excellent stainless systems for the E-type. They also offer custom exhaust. If you are wanting longivity get stainless, if you want sound mild steel holds the Jags name from early years in notes.
