Lucky you! Mine is still in body shop, but I plan to have it back for the annual "British on the Green" car show at the Heritage Plantation in Sandwich, MA on June 11th with the Cape Cod British Car Club. And I swear, this is that last project that will take over one day for the rest of the summer!!

Ditto on the "lucky you"! I did manage to find a bit of time today and slid the gearbox back into the Herald. Got it almost all bolted up...enough to do a test start of the motor. Sounds great and runs smooth again. It's amazing how much a broken pressure plate can throw off the balance on a small four-cylinder!

Hopefully over the rest of the long weekend I'll get the rest of the bolts in and be able to dig into the clutch hydraulics and the brake master. Then all I'll have left is to get insurance and a NY registration...and I'll finally be back on the road. I'm afraid I'll miss "Drive your British car" week, though, for the first time in four years.

I am trying to decide whether to spend tomorrow out cruising in the country side in the TR6, with my wife behind in the MGA since I've finally get the both started(only took me all day-see my post in the pub).Or if I should dig myself in even deeper and try to wake up the sleeping B LE.

Sunday of the weekend finds me grilling chicken trying to figure out were to take the bugeye.

Ended up spending yet another day messing around with the TR6 battery drain problem, I thought I had it fixed yesterday...But it was dead again today, eventually found the connection for the seat belt buzzer(that i disconnected yesterday) was grounding out on the seat frame. Since I taped that up and put in a fresh battery I haven't noticed any further draining. I guess we'll see if it starts tomorrow.
Did get some other chores done while waiting for the battery to charge....started to open the pool, and put new expansion joints around the front walk.
