Purchased new top/tonneau pegs from Moss. All three types included which included the nuts. It has been a number of years since I took these off the car and I did bag and label them but took the old parts to one of my buildings in NJ where I have two more TR-3s. What I do not recall is if originals have lock washers. Does any one know if they had lock washers or just the nuts? Thanks Tom

Don't know what is proper, but I used lock washers on the inside of the body shell to help to keep the pegs tight. I also used clear plastic flat washers on the outside to avoid marring the paint when tightening the pegs down.

I don't believe there were any washers originally.
