I replaced the clutch slave cylinder and rebuilt the master cylinder recently. The rod for the slave cylinder was in the top hole when I started and I put in the center as per Bently. The rod for the master was in the center hole and I put it back there.
The clutch pedal is a lot higher than the brake pedal and the clutch engages very near the top. The clutch is not slipping as far as I can tell.
The brake pedal rests much lower. I also replaced the wheel cylinders. The brakes are working fine.
I have bled both systems.
Is this normal for the TR6? As a fairly new owner I might ought to ask if there is anything normal about the 6?
thanks, Pete /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/patriot.gif
