The car looks very original and is a wonderful car to save. Hope the Jag and Aston are equally nice.

OK, now back to working on my "common-man" Austin and MG...... :laugh:
 
I must say hello to my long lost relatives and reminisce about how I was always Uncle Harold's favourite.
 
Funny, That "In search of Classics" Wayne guy on TV from Connecticut just did a show where he made a "barn find" of a Type57. On the show it went at auction in its "as is" condition for over $820,000! The car was shown at Pebble Beach in original condition but detailed!
 
There is an 1937 Bugatti 57SC that is going up for auction in Arizona on the 16th. This is also one of the 17, but it is one of two that was originally supercharged from the factory. The 57SC should bring @ $6M after it's incredible restoration. I have a tough time believing $6M for this "barn find." Maybe $4M...nothing to sneeze at, though.
 
The UK Barn Find has a pretty good provenance. Originally owned by Earl Howe, a famous racing driver of his day, subsequently by Lord Ridley - not yer average plebs!
