Patty Duke - RIP

Just learned that actress Patty Duke has died at 69. She was a wonderful actress who was one of the first Hollywood luminaries to "come out" as a person living with mental illness (in her case BiPolar).

She starred in the Miracle Worker Twice - once as Helen and in a reprise she played Annie Sullivan (Melissa Gilbert player Helen)

By the by, a few years ago, while on a business trip to Huntsville, AL, I took the occasion to visit Helen Keller's home in Tuscumbia, AL. I'll see if I can dig out some pictures.
