Has anyone found more info on this than the usual sniping and guff? The various vids show a tire loose and flying into pit lane at her left rear as things get all sideways, she said she hit a tire... there's more to this than: "She can't drive!" and "She's a menace!"

How does a tire (looks unmounted and NOT a racing one in the vid, BTW!) end up where it obviously doesn't belong? Where was the left rear tire changer? She's sucked it up and apologized to th' Target crew but I think there's a "back-story" we ain't heard yet. She screwed up because someone else screwed up first.

Doc., I agree, For starter, she CAN drive!! and even spinning her tires down pit lane would not make a car lurch right like hers did. Boy were they lucky no-one got pinched against the pit wall, that's all I've got to say!!! (I've been there...in fact just about in the same pit, give or take a slot, as the incident!..and it is very sobering to say the least!)

I see people villifying her for being PO'd... if I were Briscoe, I'd be a bit contrite. Clearly he stuffed her.

And I see NO cause for her to have borne the blame for what I've seen so-far, Indy OR the Glen. I'd like to see an overhead of the Glen incident as well covered as the Indy one.

Yep, he's now dead meat.

Wonder what she'd done if they hadn't stopped her before she got to him?

Ahh, this is a family forum, I can't say.

mehheh.... well ~I~ certainly wouldn't wanna be in her cross-hairs.

Pro'lly woulda lost her license... :smirk:

I sure wouldn't want to cross that particular racer! Talk about a game face! When the suit goes on, the person standing there is pure competitor, through and through! Racer, competitor, challenger, leader, driver, winner. Notice the words "he" or "she" appear in none of those. Perhaps the media should take note of that more than they take notice of the length of this driver's hair?!

If she would get off that cell phone, and concentrate on merging traffic......

Just kidding.

My take is she's about the ONLY woman I'd not worry about if she were driving in traffic while on a cellphone.
