To go with my whine.

It's 63 degrees here, not a cloud in the sky. And I don't have a LBC to drive.

However, we're having 20 people over in an hour or so. Two of them own LBCs. Surely ONE will drive theres on a day like today...

If we were a lot closer Janel, (distance) I would have got the TR7 out of storage and let you drive it until your B was ready.

Oh well... But.. What are friends for?

Paul

Hmmm. Let me think a nanosecond here Paul. Two broken MGs I can't drive, or borrow yours...

Hmmm. Okay fine. I'm desperate. I'll drive your TR7. Under the cloak of darkness and a full disguise.

MY GOD! I have no pride or shame any more. 18 days B-less will do that to a girl.

Hoping my son brings his Midget and my brother-in-law brings his Bugeye!

You KNOW I'm messing with you Paul. Don't you give me that pouty face business!

I'd drive your TR. Teach you how to drive a British car properly, in fact!!!

That's better ya knucklehead!

You know, I see two non-rumfy cars in your sig. Which one you bringing to MG2006?

66 here now, and I'm gonna take the TR8 out for a run. Then I'm gonna put it back in the shop and take the MGB out!

Nanny, nanny, boo-boo!

Gee, you really know how to hurt a guy, Mickey.
I think Paul and I should grab a bunch of bats and head for your nightdress!
It's cold enough here now that I don't even want to drive the Volvo , for cryin' out loud!

Would you take a Susuki to Sturgis? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

All I know is it won't be the one on the left.. That is 200?

Paul

68 degrees now. But my other brother-in-law is bringing his Harley. For some reason he won't let me drive it but he'll take me riding on it!

The day may be salvageable afterall!

well... it's not an LBC... but it IS topless... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

But no hooters, sigh.

harley's have hooters.... errr... hooter... I'm sure they do... just can't remember if it's 1 or a matched set... heh

They're more like "bleaters" or "meepers".

i used to run a beep-beep hand activated horn on my Trumpet. wasnt very useful, but it would pass inspection that way. When i wanted to be heard, i would just grab a bit of throttle and let the straight pipes do my talkin.

Sorry 'bout that, Jeff. Just wanted to see what it feels like to be Bowker and some of our Florida members!

FWIW - the rides weren't that long - just wanted to exercise 'em a bit. And probably the last run for the TR8 before I start taking it apart.

Mickey

Top down in the '79B today for about an hour today! hehehehe
