Parts Replacement Schedule

i'm not a he, and i have a triumph, pics are around.

also, poolboy i still have helped him before on problems he has had with his car, before and after the time out. and if he asks a question i can answer on the other forum, i will help him out again. why? because i dont hold grudges, and i dont let this petty internet BS get to me. you guys are the ones getting all worked up over text on a screen, not me.

*edit* as a popular internet forum would say... epic lulz are epic.

if i was a troll, you'd be feeding me right now, tdskip. when in actuality i'm just bored  i forgot all about this forum till someone on the other triumph forum mentioned it.

oh come on poolboy, you gotta admit... most of the time i know what i am talking about. sometimes i just ruffle feathers....

Someone needs to have another look at the rules. Unlike some other forums, we have them and actually expect members who agreed to them when they registered, to actually abide by them. If folks what to engage in personal commentary, do it by email or PMs - NOT on my forum; period, end of sentence.

And this whole mess started with a simple question about routine maintenance at 2000 miles without a breakdown.

Never did get a straight forward answer.

BTW: For those unexperienced: 50+ mph on plane with only the
engine prop in the water, the boat hull "dancing" on the
water, in a speedy boat feels faster then 100 MPH in any car!!
You'll just have to trust me- 5,800 RPM from a super high tech
Merc is fast, fast, fast. Gets the old blood thumping.

dale

TINSTER, I have not had that experience, sounds exhilarating. Would love a ride after Il Baraco’s. Its a little different experience when you fire up my 1.5 Johnson. Though not British you have soul behind your butt.
BTW, my Lightning will plane when it’s blowing with the spinnaker up, banging off the tops of the waves shooting spray out the sides, quite exciting. Especially knowing even though it’s wood there is no flotation and if I dump it the day will be a long one.
And I agree your car should be just fine. Get well and take it out. Pedro, or Tres Gato's, not you Johnson.

In all fairness, Dale, I thought my answer -- the first reply (#529144) was pretty straightforward, as were a few others!

I will not revisit the thread or anymore like it. Enough is enough already.

Sail, I had a wooden Lighting back in the day. I took it in on trade from the guy who bought my Easterly 30. I was impressed with the little boat. I didn't keep it but a year or so as I was giving up sailing and getting involved with other hobbies. Small world here on the BCF.

Yeah, we seem to be everywhere but nowhere. Locking this one now; let's move on...
