Parts Replacement Schedule

Wasn't aimed only at you, Paul!

Juss,

Nothing that I said was directed at you or what you said earlier. I would PM you if I wanted to say something directly to you.

Sail!!

They have just started manufacturing "soft" artificial
baits for deep water gamefish.

We purchased a few to try them out but some ugly big
storm in New England is throwing monster waves down upon us.
No offshore fishing the remainder of the week.

I've been ill for a while so no fishing or driving for me.
I am hoping for recovery for both this week. Beautiful
TR6 driving weather and great tarpon fishing. And the
"old man" is home in bed!!

DRATS and double DRATS!!!!

BTW: For those unexperienced: 50+ mph on plane with only the
engine prop in the water, the boat hull "dancing" on the
water, in a speedy boat feels faster then 100 MPH in any car!!
You'll just have to trust me- 5,800 RPM from a super high tech
Merc is fast, fast, fast. Gets the old blood thumping.

in basic design? a lot. but if you dont want to see it for what it is, thats cool. do you know why the motor is unfavorable (from a sports car standpoint, and reliability standpoint)?
:wall: Do you have to start all that BS over here, Juss ? Jeez..give it up for heavens sake.

Thank you Poolboy I couldn't agree more. Sounds like a broken record.

I have owned 2 of those tractor engine based cars and sure had a grand time driving them. I have owned Several Jap cars but they had no soul.

i dont see how a car that is superior in every way other than looks has no soul. maybe you just werent looking for the cars soul. i've found soul in lots of cars you probably would turn your nose up at... just because you choose not to see it, doesnt mean it is not there. lots of people dont see any soul in the tr6.

jussie do you have a quarter?

I just looked over the FAQ, but didn't find what I was looking for. Is it possible to set up a ignore list or a twit filter on this board?

Yes you can, Safari. Go to the person in question's profile. Up there you will see something like "ignore this person".

This IS a happy day. I have just taken care of two items of business. THANK YOU, Poolboy!

people get so freakin butthurt... its HILARIOUS. "omg i'm going to ignore you because you say something i dont agree with!!! wah wah wah" sounds just like a bunch of babies!!!!

i seem to recall helping safari several times with issues he's had on his car, but yet he is going to turn his nose up when the issue is something he doesnt like. typical.

Wow, how did I miss all the fun here? This is more like the Volvo board where some one thinks they have to keep fighting until the other says he is right. I think the key here was this is a board with "older" owners and more likely to realize there are many opinions out there

I hope he did not follow me over here from the Volvo board. Over there I was tracked down and had political opinions rammed down my throat until I could not answer them all. I see no pics of Triumphs but does look like he could be a Volvo owner, LOL.

I love this board just for the reason Basil does not tolerate the stupid stuff

Boy, do you have selective memory, Justine.
You tore into him pretty bad at the other place for not agreeing with you. And yeah, he struck back and I believe both of you were given a time out.
That's the way I remember it.
