Parts Needed

As the reconstruction of my 1960 BE moves along at an agonizingly slow pace, I have found I need two parts. If some one has either of these can you let me know?

- We lost the back tightening nut for the turn signal indicator. I have the front part, but I can't install it without the back part. If you must part with the entire turn signal indicator, just let me know.

- We need the oil pressure line that runs from the dual gauge to the engine. The car came with an aftermarket oil pressure gauge, but that line does not hook up to my Jaeger dual guage.

Please let me know what your costs would be. I live in Spring Hill, TN.

Thanks,

Mike Pennell

PS for Tony Barnhill: Tony if you have these parts I can drive down to Huntsville to get them.

I suspect that Tony does not have the turn sig indicator, I looked at one time myself. They are hard to find, send someone on ebay that looks like they are parting a bugeye or an early midget and ask. That's how I got mine $11.

The oil pressure tube is not a bigee, anything that fits will work and it can be connected with rubber hose and clamps.

Mike,
I am not sure as to the turn signal issue, however, I had to order the oil line through Moss Europe. Check them out to see if they have the other parts that you need. The shipping is a bit much, so order the hard or impossible to get parts from them at once.

Jack & Boz:

Thanks for the info. We're still trying to recover all the parts for the turn signal indicator. At this point we found several, but a few are still missing (the nut and the part that the light bulb attaches to). Hopefully, we can recover everything we need. My son, in his zeal to tear the car down, jumbled many things together.

Regarding the hose to the dual gauge: We have the attachment into the block and the hose, we just do not have the female coupling to the adaptor. I've looked up the parts at Moss Europe, but just needed to send an email to try to clarify exactly what I need.

Otherwise, the reassembly continues. I'm hoping (HOPING!)to get the whole thing operational by 8/15.
