Sorry I couldn't get the address to copy correctly - look up this item on ebay, it's a hugh collection of cars and parts.

Nope I already have one and I am a pack rat. Keoke-

Wow. Interestingly, no 100-4s and nothing that looks like it has received any work at all. Seems to me that only a professional shop could deal with this stuff, if they even want that much.

Ended at $38K. Someone got a deal...maybe. One could make some money by refurbishing and selling the parts, or just selling the parts. I really hope that they don't do that. It would take too many cars off the market for good.

I have been watching this as well.

Unless the transaction completes outside of ebay the auction says the reserve is not met.

I would think this is a case where the sum of the parts is worth far more than the whole. I don't understand why the seller went to all the trouble to photograph and catalog each item, then bundle the lot as a single sale. Seems like the hard work was dragging the parts out photographing. There must be another urgency we don't understand (moving, lost business, health, ?).

There is no question in my mind that the individual sales would have resulted in at least three times the last bid amount, or more.

Even if you didn't want to deal with each auction sale, he could have paid a commission and come out ahead. Seems like an easy summer job.

Wondering...
