Part Question

Gentlemen:

Previously I was given information in the forum regarding a part. I was hoping to get the same info again:

- I've got a 1960 BE with a 1275. The oil pipe from the engine block to the dual gauge is leaking. I ordered p/n AHA6392 from Moss Europe. It is described as "pipe, oil (rubber hose to block)." The section of pipe I have that is leaking runs from the block to another brass fitting that then continues on to the Dual Gauge. I do not have the rubber hose described in the parts catalogue.

Can anyone give me some insight in this?

Thanks,
Mike Pennell

yep. the original hose was black, about a foot long, 1/8 inside diam outside much the same size as fuel line with a woven finish.

Have never found a place to procure a replacement that was correct.

If you would like a pic I think I have an old one I am saving for something.
