TR4/4A Part needed

I'm going with Herman's HVDA kit to install my W58 tranny in my TR3A. His kit requires the use of the TR6 pressure plate. Rather than have my TR3 flywheel redrilled/tapped for the smaller TR6 mtg pattern I'd prefer to go with a TR4A flywheel which uses the TR6 pressure plate. Anyone have one that they'd part with?

thanks for help

I might, I'll look. It would be a bit rusty but servicable. You may need to change starters too, I'm not sure about that, better check that issue too.

Jerry-
Near as I can tell the starters for TR3A (TS50001) thru TR4A are the same. Mine is TS51901 and uses the later version starter. The flywheels were the same ( except for bolt on ring gear vs pressed on) TR2 thru TR4 but used a larger pressure plate (10 7/8" mtg hold dia). The TR4A thru TR6 went to a smaller pressure plate. I'm not sure whether the TR6 crank bolt pattern is different or not. If yours is a TR4A, it should be bolt on ring gear, and be 11" overall diameter (not including the ring gear) and the mtg hole diameter for the pressure plate should be 9 7/8".

If you have one please PM me with cost and possibly pictures of both sides.
I appreciate your offer,
Bert
