Does anyone recognize this trunk light?
It came with some parts when I got my TR6. I was told it was a "trunk light" for a British car but that's all I know.
If someone can tell me what marque it fits and the possibly the year that would be great!

beats the heck outta me glide.

Well, it's not a TR6 trunk light, so beyond that, I can't help.

I agree with you Paul. It came with the car but obviously it's not a TR6 component. Was hoping someone would be able to identify it.

I regret to inform you that it doesn't appear to be anything that works on TR2/3, either.

Kinda, to a small degree, resembles a license plate light. How big is it?

Ron here are the dims. Hope this helps identify it. Thanks to all who have tried.

One lead Black, one lead Brown.
Black wire is imprinted:
D5DB-13412-AA
Thanks for the help.

Doesn't sound to new. Brown isn't a color that is used for lighting.

Thanks Don. For all I know it may not fit a British marque. The PO said it did, but I question what the PO said since he may not be knowledgleable about where it actually came from.

Well, I gave the paddock a look-over, and I can add to the pack by saying I couldn't find it on anything we own!

B.

Bill-
Thanks for taking some time to check out this part for me. I am beginning to get the feeling that this may not be from a British car as the PO told me.
Thanks again.
Elliot

Wait til Randall and Andrew post in. That's the definitive .

Thanks again Don. Just maybe.....

Sorry, I'm no help here. Andy?

Uh...Thrashwell-Snailby?

Sorry, but it doesn't look at all familiar to me, either. As Don notes, those aren't typical Lucas/British wire color codes for a lamp. And I'd expect somewhere to see Lucas, or Wipac, or Butlers or some other British lamp name on it.

Right you are Andy. There is just no identification on it what-so-ever.
Thanks for everyone that tried to identify it!
I'll just throw it back in my tool box.
