Does anyone recognize this part off a 1959 TR3A? It was stored near the steering support components, but I cannot find it in any parts diagram.

Looks like the steering column support.
 
After wasting a bunch of time on this I'm thinking you are right Bob. I'm not sure where it came from or how it ended up in the parts bin, but it sure does look to me like it could come off a late 50's British car. I guess it will remain a mystery.

Agreed, never seen such a part. Those are funky rubber grommets, too!
