We did our first cars and coffee gathering today. Best we can say about the weather is that the snow and rain held off until the afternoon. We all agreed that we are *really* ready for the driving season to get underway.

We had 2 Sunbeam Alpines, MGB, MG TC, TR250, TR6, Porsche 356 (beautiful), and a V8 Land Rover. Not a bad little gathering for a dreary morning.

Talked to the owner, he was very happy with it. Just bought it, in fact.

Did have a chance to sit in that MG TC. Belongs to a friend of mine, he drives it all the time in all weather. I fit, just. Could even work the pedals without too much trouble. Not sure if that's a good thing or not, as it's one of my favorite cars of all time. Hmm...

:winner1: all of you for braving the elements.

Nice photos and nice cars. TC is probably my all-time favourite too.

I want to like them but kits have ruined them for me. First ones I ever saw wasn't real so my brain has been programed since ute to think fake car everytime I see one.

I think you posted the picture of the MGB in reverse - the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Musta been taken through a mirror. You know, onna them trick photograph shots you use to hear about.

We had 3 RHD cars there: my MGB, the TC, and the Land Rover. The Rover owner is a young guy, recently transferred here from Australia. There was extra room in the shipping container his company provided, so he stuffed the Landie in there. Very nice V8 with a flatbed. I'm jealous.

The proportions are just so right on a TC (and always wrong on the kits). The best looking of the early-style MGs in my opinion. Maybe some day...
