Every now and then, we get a little validation that we're doing something right. I picked my youngest up from school yesterday, and he asks that I put on the radio. I flip on the 80s station, and out comes Aerosmith. The following conversation ensues:

Jamie: Aerosmith!

Me: Wow, buddy, I'm surprised you know that! Well done!

Jamie: Well, I do know my rock.
 
Well done!
 
I guess I missed that educational experience. All I know about aerosmith is the roller coaster at Disney World has something to do with them. Sniff. :frown:
