Parcel Shelf for a 100

Can someone please post a photo of how an original parcel shelf for a 100 should be covered? I know the sides are covered, but is the side sewn to the bottom and is the bottom even covered. Thanks for the help.

My early BN1 is/was just a metal shelf painted black, i've added some thick fabric to the shelf floor just to stop things rattling

I believe zblu is correct, I added some stuff to the tray that I got at a hardware store for tools drawers and stuff, sort of a soft rubber mesh, that, as zblu stated, "helps stop things from rattling around"

Thanks for the replies. Someone e-mailed me some photos from his original shelf and how the vinyl is attached. There is no vinyl on the bottom, the sides just roll onto the bottom about 1/2 an inch.

The 100 had a leather strip around the outside and I think a carpet inlay, at least that's what most of the kits come with.

Michael.
