Panel padding??

Interior trim panels on a BE are un-padded. What about the panels on Sprdgets 1964 and beyond....padded or un-padded?

Padded with 1/8" foam, 1/4 inch will make them too thick and the window cranks will rub the vinyl.

Are the other panels (sill, footwell, hulkhead, etc.) padded as well?

Yes, all of them had the 1/8" foam under the vinyl, they needed this because they went to the clips instead of the screws in the face of the panel.
They still used screws on some panels but they were still padded to match the doors.
