OK - who's chowing down on pancakes and sausage tonight? Just got back from a run to Sam's to pick up pancake mix and fixin's for our youth pancake supper.

Will start cooking soon; serving at 6:00.

PANCAKE MIX! Oh, the horror; has civilization sunk so low? Just get the youth group some flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, bacon fat, eggs, milk, and maple syrup. They'll have a lot more fun. (chuckle)

Egad - a MIX???!!!! :nonono:

I just picked up a nice pile of paczki. Nothing better on Mahdee Grah, lemme tell ya! Lemon, raspberry, custard, strawberry, cherry, etc. etc.

Just remember, you have to eat them *all* before Wednesday.

Edit: pancake mix - "It ain't fittin' - just ain't fittin'." (anyone remember what movie that quote comes from?)

Love breakfast for dinner. Wish I was close!

"Frankly, my dear..."

I miss doing the old pancake suppers. Cooking 'cakes and flipping sausages all evening. Good times.

Tradition in the UK on Shrove Tuesday is pancakes, but the real ones, not the fluffy synthetic garbage. Hint: The French call 'em crepes......

Topped with sugar and lemon juice, or jam, or some syrup, or some honey.

Gues what I'M going to be making tonight!!!

In about a 1/2 hr. I'm going to be makin tracks for our fave Fells Point pub. Doolie & gater sausage, stew, lots of hot sauce...maybe even a couple brews to wash it all down with. Shriving can wait. :jester:

The Parish Hall smells like day-old sausage grease today!

Reminds me of a high school girlfriend's cologne.

Heck yes! I gave it to her!

A bottle of the world-famous "Jimmy Dean's Original Fleur de Bratwurst".
