I’m looking for a 1/2-1 oz bottle of single stage touch up paint, but all the majors only offer base clear. Any suggestions before I try the local paint shop for $$$?
Rut
paintscratch.com offers single stage in a pen or small bottles (1 & 2 oz). They also list Pale Primrose, but with an expected disclaimer that the paint may not match since the car is so old. Kinda expensive for the amount of paint you get, but for less than $20 I doubt you could get it done any cheaper.
Some O'Reilly stores mix paint, but most don't....and I don't know if they do very small quantities.
Joe,
Thanks, their website is confusing to me and I selected the 1 oz single stage in PP. The order doesn’t state single stage until you open the cart and place the order.
Rut
Yeah, I always wonder why companies make it so difficult to order their products online. It's not THAT hard to make it easy!
I suppose it's because the website designers don't really know the product and it's use, and don't get enough input from the people with actual knowledge.
