WOW... it looks great! Are you going to leave that blue pinstriping that goes around the engine bay on? :jester:

That is labor that you will not regret down the road, my friend....

Great job!! Now let it set up and cure well before you start banging around in there.

I love it, vicarious painting with pictures too!

Nice work. Now, what Paul said - let it harden for a few days, more if cold.

Hondo, Great work, not many take that much effort. Sure hope you will not be reluctant to drive this car when you finish. I got one of those.

I wish you guys would not show pictures like that. I look at them and don't want to go back and look at mine

Looks great

I really love that red, good job Hondo

So how about some shots of the engine work in progress? Did you get any taken yet?

so far no pics of the engine in progress. I will see what I can do though, next up is pulling the old wiring out and start putting the new one in and replace all the old rubber gromets in the engine compartment

well the old rats nest of wires is OUT!, I cut all the connectors and left a little of the the colored wires attached to where they go, so I hope that helps me put the new one in easier, it seems to me to be fairly easy but time will tell, Just looking forward to everything working again. Since when I am done and the engine and OD tranny go in it will practically be a NEW 1971 Car.

going to sent the tach and spedo out to be refurbished this week too.
